We’re proud to announce that the San Diego Business Journal (SDBJ) has recognized Bay City Brewing Co. as one of San Diego’s top five fastest-growing private businesses in 2023. (Check out the full list of results in the SDBJ’s “Fastest Growing Private Companies” for 2023.)
This honor spotlights the 100 local companies innovating San Diego’s economy. To be nominated for this award, the SDBJ requires companies to operate independently, meet a certain revenue threshold, and be headquartered in San Diego.
“We started Bay City with a simple goal — create a destination for craft beer lovers that served something for everyone,” Bay City founders Ben DuBois and Greg Anderson said. “Being recognized in the San Diego Business Journal is humbling, and it shows how supportive our customers have always been since the day we opened our doors.”
Ben and Greg launched Bay City in 2015, and in 2018 they partnered with Chad Robley, Managing Director of Mindgruve Ventures. Today Bay City has two locations — the rooftop bar and the first-floor Tasting Room in the East Village, as well as the brewery in Point Loma (across from Pechanga Arena). But that’s only the beginning of what’s to come. So here’s to serving many more customers like you in the years ahead.
